Bare feet

Any purple or black biketard OR any purple or black leotard with black bike shorts or leggings

Long hair secured in a bun or braid

Ballet

Skin toned or light pink split sole canvas ballet shoes

Any purple or black leotard with skin toned or pink convertible dance tights (shoes and tights should match in colour) OR Any purple or black leotard with black shorts or bike shorts

Long hair secured in a bun

Contemporary

Bare feet

Any dance/active wear, preferably purple or black

Optional: THRIVE T-shirt or leotard*

Jazz

Black Jazz Shoes (slip-on, NO LACES)

Any dance/active wear, preferably purple or black

Optional: THRIVE T-shirt or leotard*

Tap

Black Lace Up Tap Shoes

Any dance/active wear, preferably purple or black

General Class Requirements:

All long hair must be tied back

No denim or school uniforms

No necklaces, bracelets, watches, large earrings

Creative Dance Classes

bare feet OR Black Jazz shoes OR pink/skin toned Ballet Shoes

Anything that is comfortable to move in

Open Classes

Any dance/active wear

Jazz/Contemporary: Any Jazz shoes, socks, or bare feet

Tap: Any Tap shoes

Ballet: Any Ballet shoes

Shoes

Shoe requirements for performances are the same as class shoe requirements. Dance shoes should be put on upon arrival at class and taken off before leaving to keep shoes in good condition.

Tights and Undergarments

Skin-toned convertible dance tights are required for all performance classes.

Any undergarments must be skin-toned with skin-toned or clear straps.

Hair and Make-up

Hair must be styled neatly using hairspray, mousse, or hair gel.

All dancers are required to wear lipstick.

All other make-up is optional for dancers under 5yrs.

Other make-up: foundation, blush, eyeshadow (brown/natural tones), mascara, eyeliner
